The man himself
A/C Ch.
Bastion's Celebration Time BIS/BISS ROM
We are proud to present the
main man of our home. Magnum is one of the best we have produced in the
history of our kennel. He has made breed history by being the youngest
champion, to my knowledge, finishing in 3 days at the age of 7 months. Magnum
became a A/C Ch at 9 months. He is the only male Best in Show on both sides of
the border - Canada and the States. After holding the number one spot (All
Systems) for bullmastiffs in the United States in 1996, he went to the capable
hands of Pam McClintock to achieve status as the #8 WORKING DOG and the #1
Bullmastiff in Canada for 1997. He is already making history with a BIS son
and two BIS/BISS grandsons, Louie and Liam. It is with a sad heart that I must
add, we lost Magnum at the age of 9, he died of Bone Cancer. He will be sorely
missed. Magnum left us in January of 2003.
This picture is taken in March of 2000, as a veteran, and Magnum
never looked better. He is shown with owner/breeder - Lynn Spohr.
